nice perspective Mike, losing JK Dobbins in 4 of my $2500+ leagues was enough to end the night sad on the sofa making myself feel better with the haze of cannabis smoke and a pint of ice cream.

What’s the update, how was week 2? I’m hoping after kickoff you were able to enjoy the games as we did as kids!

Great piece, Mike. Question....do you think you tilt more on your lineups or etr content/best plays etc.

If it's the former, perhaps lowering bet size will help? And you can eventually find the sweet spot where you've got capital at work (you do have an edge) but Sunday is a bit less tilt inducing...

Great write up Mike. I was coming to terms with some of these ideas on Sunday night. Thank you for sharing your insights and the hard work you put in year round at ETR.

Thanks for taking the time to write this. I think the mental health aspect of sports, especially fantasy sports, is not covered enough. I've had friends quit home leagues because they couldn't take the spiral of negativity. It feels like simply acknowledging the patterns and making the choice to be mindful of them is meaningful. Would love to hear about how this goes and what it does for your enjoyment of the season.

Appreciate your post AND all the work you put into me hopefully not having as painful "tilts" on Sunday with even a small-scale DFS obsession. I do get worried reading the "at all" portion of your post - I have found for me personally, anything I try to do at 100% with absolute certainty can lead me to eventually just being mad at myself for not accomplishing a goal.

And I definitely didn't just write all of that out for myself.................................... :)

Keep fighting the good fight and doing great (and properly focused) work!
